Privacy Policy

"RouteTracker" values your privacy. This privacy policy explains how the app collects, uses, and protects your data.

1. Information We Collect

1-1. Location Data

RouteTracker collects location data to display your current position and track your activity routes. This information is collected only with your explicit consent.

The collected location data is used for the following purposes:

This data is not shared with third parties, and users can change location permission settings at any time within the app settings.

1-2. Fitness Data

To analyze your real-time workout intensity and provide accurate, personalized records, RouteTracker collects fitness information such as heart rate, gender, age, height, and weight. This information is collected only with your explicit consent.

The collected information is used for the following purposes:

This data is not shared with third parties, and you can change your permission settings and edit your data at any time within the app.

1-3. Google Sign-In and Google Drive Backup Data

The app uses Google Sign-In and the Google Drive API when you choose backup or restore features that rely on your Google account. Depending on the feature you use, the app may process your Google account identity, approved OAuth scopes, file metadata, and the backup files or attachments you explicitly choose to store in your Google Drive. Access is limited to the scope you authorize.

1-4. Subscription and Billing Data

If you purchase, restore, refresh, change, or manage a subscription, the app and the relevant app store may process subscription-related information such as product identifiers, transaction or purchase identifiers, purchase status, renewal status, expiration dates, cancellation, revocation, refund, or payment recovery state, and related diagnostic information. RouteTracker uses this information to activate, verify, restore, limit, or revoke premium access and to show the current billing state inside the app.

1-5. Analytics, Diagnostics, and Remote Configuration

RouteTracker uses Firebase services, including Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Remote Config. These services may process app instance identifiers, device and app information, usage events, crash logs, and configuration request metadata so that we can measure feature usage, diagnose failures, improve stability, and deliver configuration values used by the app.

1-6. Advertising Data

RouteTracker may display banner ads in free-tier surfaces through Google Mobile Ads. Advertising services may process device or advertising identifiers, app interaction information, and ad performance information to deliver, limit, and measure ads. Premium plans may remove banner ads on supported screens, but advertising SDKs may still be present in the app build.

1-7. Local AI Model Downloads

RouteTracker may offer Local AI insight features that run on your device after a supported model file has been downloaded. The app does not send your activity records, model prompts, generated insights, or local inference inputs to Hugging Face or another external LLM API for inference. When you choose to download or update a Local AI model, the app may connect to a model hosting provider such as Hugging Face to request the configured model file. That provider may receive request metadata such as your IP address, device or browser/client information, request time, and similar network metadata according to its own privacy policy.

2. Use of Data

The app uses data for the following purposes:

Most user-created activity content is stored locally on your device, and optional backup copies may be stored in your personal Google Drive account when you enable those features. Certain operational, analytics, crash, ad, and billing-related data may be processed by the third-party services described below.

3. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

RouteTracker does not sell your personal data. However, data may be processed by third-party service providers only to the extent necessary to deliver the relevant app functionality. Depending on the features you use, this may include Google Play Billing, the Apple App Store, Google Sign-In, Google Drive API, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Google Mobile Ads, health data platforms or SDKs such as Health Connect, and model hosting providers such as Hugging Face for Local AI model file downloads and related model card or license pages. These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.

4. Data Security

The app uses secure communication protocols provided by Google, Apple, Firebase, Hugging Face, and other platform services used by the app. Access is limited to authorized scopes and features, and transmissions to supported third-party services are made over protected channels where available.

5. User Permissions

The app accesses location data, health data, and Google account data only with your explicit permission. You can revoke Google account access from your Google account settings, change location or health permissions from your device settings, and stop using subscription features by managing your subscription through the relevant app store.

6. Data Retention & Destruction

Most activity records, settings, physical profile information, attachments, and similar user content are stored locally on your device. If you delete the app or clear its app data, locally stored content is removed from that device.

If you enabled Google Drive backup, backup copies stored in your Google Drive remain there until you delete them from your Google account or revoke the app's access. Billing records, analytics events, crash logs, remote configuration metadata, advertising-related data, and Local AI model download request metadata may also be retained by the relevant third-party providers according to their own retention schedules, legal obligations, and platform policies.

7. Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Drive API, Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing, Apple in-app purchase infrastructure, Firebase services, Google Mobile Ads, health-related platform services where supported, and Hugging Face or similar model hosting providers for Local AI model downloads where configured. Your use of those services may also be subject to the terms, privacy policies, and platform rules of the relevant providers.
